Technology in Music Education

About me

Jade Foster is a Bachelor’s student at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music studying Education and Piano Performance. Her interest include classical music performance as well as contemporary learning practices.

Living in a world where technology is constantly evolving and changing the way we consume information is exciting for all new teachers. Technology in music can be a challenging task for teachers to grasp onto especially if they themselves weren’t exposed to a modern and contemporary style of learning during their previous musical practices (like me who is classically trained!) However, these opportunities of broaden my knowledge about sound recording and song writing will ultimately challenge and shape me into becoming a fit music teacher for the 21st century classroom!
